My name is Caleb Rexius and I am an independent filmmaker with a goal to use the power of moving images to communicate the value of your product. I am a storyteller first and foremost – cameras, lights, music, and the video itself are just the means by which we begin to tell your story.
With your direction, oversight and recommendations, I manage every project from start to finish in every aspect. Storyboarding, writing, casting, shooting, editing, and submitting for delivery are all part of your complete production package. For these reasons, most clients experience very quick turnaround times and can be in contact with me all the way through. I am usually able to meet the needs of any size project for individuals and groups, to non-profit organizations, communities, and larger companies.
What I do
Book Trailers
Producing Book Trailers for authors and publishers has been the primary focus of my production company. Book Trailers are becoming increasing popular, and are being used as a tool to increase book awareness and also provide a teaser for a new release. Check out my portfolio tab to view some of my recent work on various book trailers. Please use my contact form to inquire about your upcoming release or project.
Investment:
Most book trailers I produce are on a budget of around $1,500 to $2,500. The majority of my book trailer projects have been completed around that figure, which includes client consulations, storyboarding, writing, casting, finding the set, shooting, hiring voice talent, adding a musical background, editing, and delivery. Projects with a more advanced storyline that require numerous sets, more actors, and/or other production costs, will require a larger budget. Turnaround time is typically 1-2 weeks.
Commercials
I got my start in professional video production by being assigned a broadcast quality TV commercial. This was before I knew hardly anything about writing, shooting, editing, and so on. I have since produced many more commercials and would love to brainstorm with you on your next project. Please use my contact form to inquire about your upcoming project
Investment:
Commercials also vary in price. Most commercials can be completed with a $2,000 budget, and very simple ones can be even less expensive.
Product/Promotional
Product/service or promotional videos can come in many shapes and forms and can be used in a variety of ways, such as internal use for recruitment and promotion of company ideals, exhibits for display at trade shows and other exhibit booths, externally for a sales pitch, direct to a prospective client or customer, on a website to engage customers, and to share with the whole world via various social networking sites. What I call Product/Promotional videos are different from Commercials in a variety of ways. Commercials are typically for TV, and therefore usually :10, :15, :30, or :60 spots and have a very directed message. Product/Promotional videos are usually longer in length, such as 2-4 minutes, and are usually a little less formal than a TV spot.
Investment:
Product/Promotional productions are bid on a project basis. A shorter video, with very simple text and motion graphics can be completed for $500, and more in depth and sophisticated videos can run up to $3,000 or more.
Documentary
I have completed various documentaries and would love to hear about a documentary idea or request you have in mind. Please use the contact form to inquire about the filming of your next documentary.
